Ambassador Manika Jain paid a courtesy call Samdech Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of Cambodia

Her Excellency Ms. Manika Jain, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of India to the Kingdom of Cambodia paid a courtesy call Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of Kingdom of Cambodia on 26 April 2018 at Peace Palace. During the meeting, various issues of India-Cambodia Bilateral Defence Cooperation were discussed.

Under the 2007 Agreement on Defence Cooperation, Indian side has been conducting peacekeeping and demining training for Cambodian Armed Forces. Besides, Indian side has been offering a number of defence courses to Cambodian Armed Forces as part of India’s Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme. Indian Naval and Coast Guard ships have been making goodwill visit Sihanoukville Port in Cambodia. In 2016, Indian side gifted 15 mine sniffer dogs to Cambodia.
